Editor: Badia Duplica allows you to sample and apply text and item attributes using multiple clipboards. Simply choose the attributes you wish to copy, and then use the eyedroppers to duplicate the same styling in other parts of the document. More than 80 attributes are available to pick from characters, paragraphs, pictures, boxes, lines and pages. Duplica also allows you to copy text without formatting, and transform items using the built-in Clone tool.
Sample Multiple Text Settings At Once
New to Duplica 4.0 for QuarkXPress 8 is the ability to sample a multiple range of character and paragraph attributes. Then, with a single click of the mouse, apply the exact sequence of attributes again to unformatted text. Now you can format Tables, catalogs, annual reports, technical books, or any complex document in just seconds.
Copy and Paste Text Without Formatting
With Duplica, you can copy and paste text without style or formatting information. Pasting unstyled text incorporates the style attributes of the insertion point.
Apply Text and Item Attributes to Multiple Boxes
Duplica allows you to paste any character or paragraph attribute to an entire text box or to multiple text boxes. When combined with the new range styling capabilities, this means you can even format dozens of text boxes with only a few clicks.
Clone Boxes and Lines
You can clone any box or line using the built-in Clone feature that transforms items just like dedicated illustration programs. You just specify the offsets that will change incrementally with each duplication, such as width, height, angle, skew, shade and Frame width. For example, you can clone a box increasing its frame width by 1 pt with each duplication, resulting in cloned boxes with 2 pt, 3 pt, 4 pt, ... frame widths.
